Can I have Outlook and Groupwise clients on same CallPilot 5.0

We have been using Groupwise for email and now we have just started assigning a group of users with Outlook WebClient for emails and when I load the DeskTop messaging client 5.0.41.142 on these users I get a message "can not connect to server" and wonder if there is something I need to add to CallPilot server to allow outlook and still use Groupwise for the other users.
