Can I get milliseconds in a ksh script on HP-UX?

Can I output millisecond from a ksh script on HP-UX? I know how to get seconds, but milliseconds?

in a ksh you could convert secs to milsecs

secs=1000
let "milsecs=$secs*1000"
echo $milsecs
