Can I get MicroStrategy 5.x version

I very badly need MicroStrategy 5.x version (Evalvation copy ) also would be fine for me. Question is where do i get it . Please help me out.

Good luck. I haven't seen version 5 in years. You can still get version 6 but I don't know why you would want it.

what you are asking is in all liklihood illegal. you want someone to hand over the software and license keys? i'd guess your only shot is to contact the company and explain why you need version 5.x so badly. maybe they will help you out.

Could you explain a little more? Why do you need v.5? I'm guessing that your reason is product specific too?

V.6 is basically the same as v.5, but "better."

Does MicroStrategy even support the 6.x product lines anymore?

I thought the original posting was a joke...it's like someone saying they need a PC with 32MB of RAM.

Naren - if you get the software, let us know how you do with the thunking layer and the 16-bit components. You are probably looking for those Oracle 7 ODBC drivers too. Can't help you there either.

6.X is probably not supported anymore, however if this guy needed it, that would probably be the only version that he could get his hands on.

Thunking shouldn't be hard if you have the old supported drivers...

I still don't understand why narenkv wants that version but good luck.
