I have a Cobol CICS program with a BMS map.
When I enter any input into the map, it converts it to upper case before/when the program receives the map.
I have coded CASE=MIXED on the BMS map & this hasn't stopped it.

Could be a CICS setting?
If so what would need to be changed?

Thanks.

A lot of terminal behavior depends on the terminal itself.

How is the terminal (or terminal emulation program) set up with respect to handling text? Most terminal emulation programs will have a setup section to configure things. And most terminals should have a configuration mode that's accessible upon a specific keypress.

Thanks,
I will check with our CICS guys and see if there is something they can do about the terminal settings.
