Can I get Caller ID ?? 2

Hi,

I have 2 customers with old Norstar systems and the customers are asking if they can get Caller ID on their current systems.

Can someone tell me if either of these have that capability and if not, can they be upgraded or would I need to replace the cabinet.

System 1: 30MVM05 DR5

System 2: SP30NSE01 DR5

If the system is a 6/16 you need a C6 caller id module and a free DN port. If the system is an 8/24 you need an M8 module with a free DN port.

You need both items listed above as you have a 6X16 and an 8X24

On the 8X24 instead of an M8 module you could instead use a 12X0 trunk module and a Call ID card.....depends on your setup currently as you would need an expansion card also.

If you have a 616 the C6 & M8 will both work, but only the M8 can be used with the 824. Curlycord's suggestion will be easier to implement for the 824 as the Caller ID Interface is nearly impossible to find at a decent price.
