Can I force a print line when no data returns for Report? VB6/RDC

I have a report generator built in VB6 which uses the RDC component to generate and export a series of reports to excel. Two of the six reports may not return any data on certain occassions but I still need the reports to be generated. Currently the reports are spooled no mater what but does anyone know how I can get a "No data available to report" to appear in the report when there's no data?
