Can I fax with a cable modem and Outlook 2000?

I am trying to obtain faxing capabilities on my PC. I am running Win2k and Office 2k. My internet connection is a cable modem and I have no dial-up. Does Windows have anything built in or any type of plug-in? Or is there any type of decent software that is not Microsoft out there somewhere? Please help and happy holidays!!:-V

Yep... eFax.com has a niffy service and software package. I've used for over a year now and have been quite happy with it. I have faxed from work through a firewall, my DSL, dial up and other company networks.

I tried efax software and it works fine until you've used your 3 free faxes. After that, you have to $ubscribe to their software to keep using it. Bummer....
