Can I export to Excel color sampling information found on info pallete? I would like to save RGB values that I sample from an image using the color sampler tool, so that I may use them at a later time. I have to do this for alot of images and was wondering if there was a way to do it without manually writing down the values. If not, is there any other program that will allow me to do this?

Hi,

You will have to do this manually, but the best way to get color info is to use the HEX values for colors. You can get that through the tools palete when you select colors, and then just copy the 6 character hex code found at the bottom that has a # next to the text box.

Hope this helps!

I have had this problem before when analysing Gif images, if you have a lot of colours that you need to get the details of, you could write a Perl Script to do the job, by iterating through a set of array's you can extract the colour info that you are looking for. The only thing is you would need to know Perl.
