can i export contacts to PAB?

hello
i have some distribution lists and contacts in "contacts" that i need to have in my PAB
how do i go about getting them over there without manually recreating?

Once you know where the *.pab file is and the contacts file is

Used the export facility for the contacts to a file

Then use the import facility to add the file contents to your pab

Are you sure that we're talking about Outlook's Contacts folder & Outlook's Personal Address Book? - Not Windows Address Book (used by Outlook Express). Might I ask what is the point of this exercise? There could be other options.

no outlook express involved
one user has a personal address book in OL2003
after we switched over from exch55, her distribution lists cause bounced emails. I know that recreating them will fix that problem so i went ahead and recreated one of them for her but i created the distrib in her contacts
i just want to make her happy so that she can continue to do things like she's used to - this means getting that recreated distrib into her pab

If you actually have the PAB file from the old exchgserver just use the import/export util and select Import from another program or file > scroll to PAB and import it
