Can I edit crystal Report Source code?

hello...
Iam using Crystal Report 8.0 on Windows 2000 server.
I want to schedule export of crystal reports through email.

Since,Crystal includes feature to export/mail reports,Iam looking for delivery of reports by email based on a schedule.It's should happen automatically on scheduled date.

Can I customize the export/mail option to make this functionality done.
Is there any way to view the source code & edit it ?

There are numerous ways to do this, but it's dependent upon what version of CR 8 you have.

You can write code, such as VB, C#, C++, Java, etc.

You can use a 3rd party product, such as (look for those that state schedule and email, I have some history with Visual CUT, and I'm sure that Hammerman's solution is solid as well):

Or you can use the companion product that Crystal offers called Crystal Enterprise, though it's very expensive.

You'd have to add in a scheduler to it (hence buying a 3rd party product probably makes the most sense).
