I created a new POP account and automatically received all the mail for the last 2 years from my Inbox (Yahoo). Can I get the server to send me the mail in my Sent folder?

Can I download the Sent folder from the mail server?

In principle, no. Simply because most providers use different servers for sending mail than they do for retrieving mail. For example, mail.yahoo.com would be where you'd retrieve email, but smtp.yahoo.com is where your outbound goes to. Moving forward though, you could always cc yourself if you wanted a copy of your sent stuff.
Not with POP3, which covers just the inbox. IMAP allows for various folders.
