I used the site wizard on my hosting service, but cannot see the HTML source. All I can see is:

<!-- BOF: ./personal-templates/show.body -->
<!-- BOF: ./personal-templates/simple/generic/show -->
<!-- BOF: ./personal-templates/simple/generic/functions -->
<!-- BOF: ./personal-templates/simple/generic/navbar --><!-- EOF: ./personal-templates/simple/generic/navbar -->

Is there a way I can edit the html directly or do I have to build the site from scratch. I use VortechHosting.com (who have been awesome I might add).

Thanks for any help.

First of all, what are you talking about???

What page's HTML code are you trying to view?
That seems to be <!--include fiels you're viewing

Can you structure you question better?

Unless they have an option for you to download the files, you will have to rebuild from sacratch. It appears that there wizard has a template it creates (the include statements) and then builds those included files to your specifications. You could try directing the browser to those files and downloading them, you may be able to get them that way.
Another option would be to write to your host and ask for the files as "a starting point to rebuilding your page by hand".

With enough resources, time, and coffee, anything is possible.

Maybe I'm missing something.
But shouldnt your hosting company being able to help you with this?

Unless it's server side script, I would be very surprised if we couldn't get to the code.

Goto your page, and try putting this in place of the last folder and filename: personal-templates/show.body
