I am trying to display the report's directory path in a pdf header or footer. There is no icon to do this, but I wondered if there was another way to do it.

I go into my report, go to Data / Export Options and choose pdf file. Click on Advanced Options and then the Header / Footer tab.

There is no icon that shows for the report's directory path. However, there is no icon for date or time either, but if I type in &[Date] or &[Time] then the correct date and time display when the report is exported to pdf from the web (it doesn't work when exported to pdf from the desktop but our users will all be web based so that is not an issue for us). Does anyone know of a similar "tag" that will work for the directory/path? I tried &[Path] but that did not work. Also if anyone has a list of "tags" that do work, that would be appreciated also.

We are using version 7.2.3 if that makes a difference.

Thanks in advance for any help!

The information is available in the Microstrategy Help menu. Just type exactly 'Auto Text'. It will give you a list of autotexts you can list on documents.
And there is no option to display the path.
A work around is that IF you are using a single directory to store all your documents, just type the path in text in MS Paint and save as jpeg or bmp. Insert that into your document. It will display on your report.
Hope that helps!!
