using attachmate extra 6.5. I have a macro that goes through several screens and copies some to the clip board.
I would like to display a dialog box or progress bar while the macro is running so that user don't enter keystrokes while the macro runs. I any suggestions. Thanks BRC

I realize your looking for a way to get a progress bar, but that's pretty difficult (if not imposssible) through EB. If you just want to disable user input, try this:

Sess0.KeyboardLocked = true

I've not actually tried it, but the docs say it works. Of course that's not always a good sign!

You may also search this board. I remember seeing a post about doing this through API or some other OS method. Again, that gets pretty complicated. It would be much easier to use VB(A) to control Extra and do the progress bar in VB(A).

With my macros, the user cannot interact with the session while the macro runs. They can use the other programs in the system tho.
