We want to provide PDF files on our web site but we only want users to be able to read or print the files and not to be able to save them to disk. Is this possible ?

I don't think so - if they can download it for viewing, it is on their disk. Newer versions of Acrobat may prove me wrong.

If they can print, they could print them to a file.

If you have loaded the pdf for viewing (controlled by the user), then it's in the cache..... Ahhhhh, I see you have a machine that goes Bing!
