A few months ago I moved my page file from my C: drive to my D: drive due to space issuse.
I realized that even though the virtual memory setting radio button is set to "no page file" on drive C:
there is still a page file on the drive. As this is 4GB I am wondering if I can delete the old file. I know this sound simple but how do I know the system isn't using the file? It hasn't be modified for over 9 months.

Thanks

Make sure you have a page file on D: first, it should be safe to delete the file on C:, if its in use which it doesnt sound like it is you would get a delete failure as the file would be in use by the system.
