I'm trying to free up space on my C drive. Can I remove files with an .msi extension? For example, "Acrobat505.msi"

Thanks.

More than likely -- yes -- those are "installation files" (Microsoft Installer) -- so if you no longer need the installation "media" then you can delete it.

In the example you posted it appears to be the installation file for Acrobat505 -- which is quite old.

MSI extensions are installer packages for the Microsoft Installer, and most can be deleted without a problem... Though be warned, that if an install gets wonkered, it may not be able to correct itself...

as to the one mentioned, that can be safely deleted...

I suggest, that you use CCleaner to clean out unnecessary stuff, it is safe to use...
