can i database in perl? need to organize inputs from a form...

I need to database some info and retrieve. Can anyone point me to the correct language, or can it be done in conjunction with Perl?

theres plenty of examples in there

you would also need to decide what database to use
postgres and mysql are good choices for linux

the thing is...i don't even know mysql or postgres...

but i'll learn. i had heard mysql before relating to dbases, so maybe that's the ticket.

I've used both. MySQL is faster but I use Postgres because it supports transactions. Of course, I haven't kept up with MySQL so I'm not sure how far they have come with it.
