I can create a great brush in Illustrator CS that looks and acts like an ink brush done by hand. The line goes from a thin point to a thick center and back to a thin point as I click and drag and then release the curser while using the paintbrush tool.
This line looks like what I create by hand- as the sable brush tip hits the paper the line is thin, and as I proceed with the line I push the brush in a little which thickens the line and then I move the brush out to end the stroke and the line thins out as it ends.
Is it possible to do this in Photoshop CS? I can only seem to create brushes that go from thick to thin by modifying the shape dynamics fade parameter. Is this something that can only be supported with a tablet and pressure sensitve stylus? Seems like a basic brush function - but I'm overwhelmed by the technology. Thanks for your help
