MY CLIENT HAS A MERLIN MAGIX, PROC. CKE5, 024 TDL, 016 T/R AND 412 TDL/LS/ID AND THEY WANT A CORDLESS PHONE FOR THE RECEPCIONIST (SHE HAVE 44??? WITH CONSOLE), I ALREADY SELL THE MINI PLANTRONICS PHONE BUT SHE DONT LIKE BECAUSE HAVE SOME PROBLEMS TO THANSFER CALLS...

HI, ME ONE MORE TIME, I ALREADY BUY THIS 3810, I CONNECTED TO A 024 TDL PORT IN TWO DIFFERENT MERLIN MAGIX OF TWO CLIENTS AND MAKE THE SAME PROBLEM, ACQUIRED LINK, APEARS IN THE DISPLAY A LITTLE SIGN OF TALK, BUT DONT HEARD ANY TONO IN THE SPEAKER JUST AIR, THE PORT IS CHECKED WITH A DIGITAL PHONE AND IT WORKS OK, I DONT NOW IF I NEED CHANGE SOMETHING IN THE PROGRAMING...OF THE MERLIN MAGIX.

It should say "acquiring link" while it searches for the antenna. If it can't find the antenna it will never get dialtone. Once it has acquired the link, the display will show the normal date/time info. These units are statically matched to their antenna. You cannot mix and match. The serial number from the phone (listed where the battery goes) needs to match the serial number on the antenna unit.

HI AND THANKS FOR YOU HELP, THIS PHONE ADQUIERED LINK OK, BUT DONT APEAR THE INFO YOU SAID, THE COMPANY WHO SELL ME THIS ITEM TELL ME IS THE VERSION OF THE SYSTEM, IS 1.0i AND NEEDS TO BE 1.5 OR MORE NEWEST, THEY OFFER TO ME ANOTHER PROCCESOR VERSION 4 AND THATS WILL DOIT WORK THE 3810, I NEED TO TELL MY CLIENT IF THEY ACCEPT THE UPGRADE AND PAID A DIFFERENCE, CAN YOU NOW HOW CAN I MAKE AND EXTERNAL BACKUP...BECAUSE IF THEY ACCEPT I DONT WANT TO REPROGRAM ALL OR LOOSE INFORMATION...

LET ME CHECK ABOUT THE SERIAL NUMBERS OF BOTH EQUIPMENTS, THEY HAVE LIKE A WARRANTY WITH A NUMBER BEGINING WITH CT...THATS THE ONE THATS NEED TO MATCH OR NEED TO BE THE SERIAL NUMBER IN BOTHS ITEMS....
