Hello,
I have a database of 850MB, and its transaction db is almost 1GB (!), can I clean up or do any thing with the transaction db? What is the cause that make the transaction db is really big, and can I truncate it just like log?
I need more explanation about transaction db.
Thanks

I believe you are talking about the transaction "LOG"(TLog) not a DB. You need to back up your database to correct this issue. TLog growth is due to transactions that are happening against your database. They are captured in case your database fails and you need to rebuild it from the last backup forward. You could put your database in Simple user mode and then a TLog would no be used. Bad thing there is that if the DB fails, you can only restore it from the last good full backup.

Thanks

instead of using delete to remove rows use truncate this will use less space on the transaction log.
also try what j said above.
