Can I change the length of default in a table?

Hi all,

I have one field that requires the same text entry on most records, so I put the text into the default field. After saving the table and running the report only half of the default text appears (in the table and the report).
Is there a way to change the length of the default field in a table?

Resize field in table like Excel's cell.
Expand the field in report and/or enable word wrap property.
