I have a small vb program in which I create a folder in the Start menu and move some files around. Is there a way to specify an icon for the folder that I create so that it does not use the default folder icon but one that I specify? I don't care about the icon for the vb application, I just want to change the icon for a file. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

As far as I know the Folders all have the same Icon. The ones with different Icons are Program Groups. Craig, mailto:sander@cogeco.ca

What about folders in the Start menu for All Users? I have one there now that was added by my company as part of our standard image, and it uses a different icon instead of the default file icon. Does this mean that it is a program group? And if it is, how can I change the icon used for a specific program group?

Thanks for your help!

I've done that too. But I did it in an Installation package. Craig, mailto:sander@cogeco.ca
