Hi,

Currently I am using CE 9 with Sybase 12.x. I have a report that currently uses a stored procedure as a datasource.

I want to replace the stored proc with a table which exists on the same server as the proc. Clicking on Set Datasource location can change the server name, but I am unable to replace the stored proc with a table.

Thanks in advance!

Under Set Datasource Location, highlight the proc name in the top pane.
In the lower pane, navigate to you table, highlight the table, then click the Update button on the right.

Now, the datasource name will not change in the upper pane as it is actually an alias.
You can verify this buy expanding the node in the upper pane, then expanding properties.
You should see the new table name and that type as table.
You can rename the datasource to whatever you choose so by closing the Set Datasource Location dialog box, and then open Database, Database Expert.
In the right pane of this dialog box, higlight the datasource name, and hit the F2 key.
