I have a report I call using ASP to view with CR8 web reports.

The same report could be applied to 20 different datasources I have with identical structure to the original. And yes, I need to run the report against each source - lucky me!!

Can I use ASP to change the datasource when calling the report, or do I have to create 20 different versions of the same report to encode the datasource?

Thanks!

dkraft: The good news is you only need 1 report! You can change the datasource through ASP code using the SetLogonInfo method for the tables in your report. That way you can run the same report against all 20 sources (as long as they are identical in structure)

Wonderbear!

Could you possibly include a code example for me?

Thanks so much for responding to my original question. I was sure there had to be a way. I'm a newbie to ASP, however, hence the request for a code example.

Thanks in advance David!
