Hi

Is it at all possible to convert a .jpg file into a .psd layered file.

What I need to do is ammend the text in some .jpf files, any way to do this?

Thanks for any help,

..EB (Plainclothesman)

Well Not really...There is a way but it isn't an easy one because once the file has been flatten to be saved as a .jpg it's done. If you want to edit it then you have to re-draw what is behind the text you want to edit, that's the hard part. My first suggestion would be to see if you could get the .jpg again without any text, if not try using your stamp tool to recreate the image under the text with images that are around the text.

Ok, Ill give the stamp tool a try

Thanks

Yeah, the Stamp tool is a trick. Clone the background, then retype the text.

Just remember, if you decided to redit the Jpg file for the second time, you are decreasing the quality of that image.
