At Open boot prompt (Stop + A) in halt state, do a "probe-scsi-all" to check device path for your external disk, then verivy with "devalias" if you have a alias correcty setup for external disk, if not change one or create a new one with "nvalias", then boot from new alias, i.e: if you create a new alias "disk9", just boot disk9 , or change the variable "boot-device" to the external disk to boot from there by default.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Carlos Almeida.

Thanks for your reply.I Did try Probe-scsi-all And found the pathname of SCSI Device after that I created The devalias of this Path but I am getting error messages.

"Cannot find /packages"

Please Can you tell me more about this?

Thanks & Regard's
