Can I add the Taskbar to Inbox in Outlook 2000?

I have a user who says she had her taskbar and date navigator pulled into the inbox on the right, just as in a calendar view, but instead of the daily date on the left, it was the inbox for e-mail messages. I cannot figure this out, and I have never seen it. Is it possible? Or is she possibly mistaken? Thank you.
