I am running CM 5.2 and have a request for an extension to ring 13 extensions and have the ability to be forwarded to a cell phone. My current limitation is 8 extensions in a coverage answer group. Is there a way in sys parameters or somewhere else to increase the number of extensions in a coverage answer group?

You could get rid of the cover answer group and put brdg-appr on the 13 phones as buttons.

You may also be able to use a call-pickup group.

A great teacher, does not provide answers, but methods to teach others "How and where to find the answers"

Hi.

Have you thought about using the "Team" button?

A team is a virtual set of stations and members of a team can be any station type with multiple call appearance displays and administrable feature buttons. Attendant consoles, remote stations, BRI-stations and SIP-Phones are excluded as valid stations, either as monitoring station or as monitored station.

In Communication Manager Release 5.2, the number of team buttons per station is increased to 31. However, the number of monitored stations that can be monitored by other stations is limited to a maximum of 15. In effect, the maximum number of team buttons in a system is 15, that is, each station is able to supervise and work on a maximum of 15 other stations.

The Team Button has two generic functions, a display function and an execution function.
The display function allows any member of a team (monitoring station) to observe the station state of other team members (monitored station).
As an execution function, the Team Button can be used as Speed Dial Button or Pick-Up Button where a call to the monitored station is established directly or a ringing call is picked from the monitored station.

If you have the "Avaya Aura™ Communication Manager Feature Description and Implementation" manual go to page 1527 and you see a detailed description of this feature.
