I have a programme that I have made in project 2007. It only has 20 items, covering around 2 months, so there is a lot of white space on the bottom of the page when printing. I would like to add several notes to the project, and this white splace would seem to be the best place to do this, but I can't seem to find a way?

I have found that if I type the notes in word, I can then import the item and it shows below the tasks, but as this puts the grey vertical lines denoting the weekends behind the notes, which looks little messy. I have also tried to put my notes in the Footer, but there is a charector limit preventing me from doing this.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Hello Tom,

While you can add notes to tasks, by default they do not appear printed on the same page.

Have you experimented with adding the Notes field to the task sheet (left side of the view) and then wrapping the text to increase the row height? There is a 255 character limit when displaying the notes field in the task sheet.

I hope this helps.

If only all project issues were this critical.

Julie's given you a couple of ideas. You can "hide" the grey columns by changing the Timescale (View > Gantt; Format > Timescale) so that the "Bottom Tier" units is "Weeks" or longer.
