Can HIS link to AS400 via TCP/IP

Hi All,

I'm task'd to create a WEB/Windows interface to our
AS400 legacy system.

I'm was informed that HIS can ONLY interface to
the AS400 via an SNA protocol. Is this true?

Our AS400 here is setup to use TCP/IP. Therefore
it don't use SNA.

The decision making powers here need an answer.

Can sombody please help?
