Can Grow Subreport

I have a subreport which contains a crosstab in the report header, which spans 2 pages in length.

When i view the subreport through my main report, it does not expand, and i cannot see half of the supreport.

The 'Can Grow' option for the subreport in the the main report is checked.

Any thoughts?

The subreport takes on the size of the container report. You could add a crosstab to the main report that has a similar number of columns (or greater) and a summary with no row field, and then remove the grid and suppress the labels and summaries so that it is invisible (without suppressing the crosstab object itself). You can resize it so that it doesn't take up much vertical space. This would allow the subreport to display in full.

However, i forgot to mention that the container report also spans to 2 pages, as does the subreport. The subreport just stops, and the main report continues to page 2.

Would your explaination regarding the container report size still be valid?

I thought you meant virtual pages to the right. Do you mean vertical pages?
