I have been using filecopy to backup the mdb database file for an application which has been working for about a year. However, the file is about to exceed the size of a floppy. Is there any routine available which will allow the user to copy the file using multiple discs?

You'll likely need to use an old DOS command Backup and the subsequent restore command. I can't verify if it is include with all os's. It does come on win 95,98 and nt4

Some (all?) (DOS only?) versions of pkzip allow you to span disks ... so does winzip ... I think there is also a command line version of winzip available - check out their web site ...
