Can Director communicate with an embedded Flash movie

I was wondering if it is possible to have Director activiate events and/or change variables in a flash movie that is embedded inside a director movie.

I know that Flash can call event handlers and pass variables, execute lingo, etc to Director but can Director talk back to flash? Any leads to links or documentation would be great.

It sure can, and isn't at all difficult.

just look up flash in the lingo Dictionary, all the commands are listed.
