I have a cisco 2511 access server. While most of the ports are configured for dial-up users and are working fine, I am trying to configure one of the ports for a small office to dial in to.
The other office have a cisco 1601.
The current configuration has a separate subnet for the async port of the 2511 (IOS ver 11.2) and the serial port of the 1601 (IOS ver 12.0). On the 1601, the ser 0 port is set as a member of a "dialer rotary-group" and with the route pointing at the dialer group, the 1601 dials sucessfully but cannot connect.
I have already configured an account name on the 1601,equal to the hostname of the 2511 and an account on the 2511 equal to the 1601 hostname with both password the same.
