Hi there,

I will not have network access in a few days.I have DataStage installed on my pc. I also have a personal oracle 8i database installed on my pc.If I have a csv file on my pc that I want DataStage to "read" into my locally stored oracle table can I do this?

Im going to assume that you have the client version of DataStage on your PC....As all of the jobs are retained on the server (which you connect to through the network), I cant imagine that you would be able to even sign into datastage director with network access

I could be wrong though.

i don't you can run datastage at client side, because all the datastage job have to use universal database to connect to other database like Oracle etc. and universal database is with server side, that is why. what you can do is to install server side datastage software at your computer, then you should be oK.
