I am getting a Maccrvwr. execute 372 error box when I run an ICR. This happened after I installed 8.5 without uninstalling 7. Can you help?

Which version of Macola are you running. If you are on 7.6.
300 or higher (7.6.200 you have a choice of 7 or 8.5), then just re-run the macola client install and you should be fine. If macola 7.6.100a or less then you would want to see tech note 01.218.766

It is possible to run both v7 ICRs & v8.5 on the same machine. Provide workstation OS, database version on server & client (check the drivers under odbc connections in control panel), macola version on client. Did you install 8.5 on the workstation as a full install? Or did you do a distributed report package? The licensing for 8.5 is different than v7: you cannot do a full install & still retain the single or 5 pack licenses for concurrent report design. If the full version is installed, you are supposed to have enough licenses for each workstation on which it is installed, even if they are only running compiled reports. The distributed report package avoids this hassle. There are also registry entries to allow v7/8.5 to run on the same machine. Provide the above info, & I can send you the necessary information to configure the workstation to run both if you aren't on 7.6.200 or higher.

I am on 7.6.300C. I will try re-installing the client again.

Just a note, on 7.6.300c you have a choice when you do the update of using crystal report 10 or 8.5. You would want to check your macola7.cfg file for the following entry

ICR-Version=8.5 <= this is your crystal level for macola.

That said re-installing the client should solve your problem. Note the 8.5 crystal on the crystal CD has different compoments that the crystal 8.5 runtime that exact uses in ES and some progression version. Install crystal and you have to re-install the macola client to register the right dlls.
