I'm completely new to the networking. Here is the question.

I can connect to my office sever using CISCO VPN Client.
I have Linksys wireless router (BEFW11S4) and cable modem.

The problem is that if I'm connected through the VPN I cannot connect to any website or ping any server by host name. I can do it if use the IP.

Can you help me please to resolve the problem?

Thanks

If you first of all go to a dos prompt and run ipconfig /all and hit enter. Note your ip address and DNS entries if any.
Then connect with Cisco VPN and run it again. Note the DNS entries for the Cisco VPN adapter. If you are not getting any DNS, or it is incorrect you will need to look at the dhcp server that assigns vpn clients their ip information - this could be a vpn concentrator or a dhcp server.
When you ping hostnames - are you able to resolve the right address and not get a reply, or does it not even resolve the name to an address at all

Under Proxy ServerCheck, use a proxy server for your lan. If if it's checked , uncheck. ok . ok. then at Address field on IE go to
