In NT the COM+ equivalent is called MTS, or Microsoft Transaction Server. Install the NT Option Pack to install MTS.

I would like to add to this, thinking my question goes into the same direction.

We have an appliacation running on Win2K server using COM+. Is it somehow possible to have Win NT clients for this application? As far as I have tested MTS on an NT client does not recognise COM+ generated packages.

Is there any way?

Chris

Component services makes MSI files. You'll need to get the Microsoft Installer for NT4. You could also play with the registry to get it to work but the MSI files should do what you want if you exported the package as a proxy and not a server.
