Can CID be maintained end-to-end on a forwarded phone?

Inbound call to phone - CID works

Inbound call to phone, forwarded to another internal phone - CID works

Internal call to internal phone, forwarded to external phone (cell phone) - CID works

Inbound call to phone, forwarded to external phone (cell phone) - CID DOES NOT work
-- What we get for CID is our BTN, instead of the CID of the original inbound caller. It appears that the forwarding process "strips-off" the original CID and replaces it with our BTN.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

 
Do you have a TELCO PRI for your outbound. If so the inbound caller ID does not pass the screening table that TELCO has on the PRI. Thye will usually only pass your assigned DID numbers.
