When callers goes into certain mailboxes, I want them to immediately be outbound transferred to a different number. The outbound transfer works great because it enables me to setup a flash to tell the telco to forward the call, but it requires the caller to press 7.

Is there a way to get the outbound transfer to happen without the user pressing 7?

Thanks in advance

Create a service DN for the your extn (eg224) in call pilot and assign it to the extn number.
Set the phone to call forward to the Voicemail DN (f985)
set the call forward delay timer eg : 6 rings
Then create a ccr tree EG:10 with a Transfer Node to transfer the external Number and assign it to a greeting Table EG10.
Use a Greeting to tell the caller they are being transfered.
EG Greeting 10

So when an external call comes in to the extn eg:224, the call will forward to the Voicemail DN after the callforward delay.
The voicemail will check to see if a service DN has been assigned.
The service DN 224 will look to see what setting has been assigned to it.: eg greeting table 10
In your case we have used Greeting table 10, Greeting 10 and CCR tree 10 with external transfer node.

The caller hears Please Hold your call is being transferred, or whatever message you have decided to record against greeting 10.

This way the caller doesn't have to do anything.

Please note Holiday Tables override all greeting tables if used.

sounds like alot going on there buddy..lol
