Can call fwd be disabled per phone, user keeps forwarding phone w/out permission
We use #91 to enable, ##91 to disable. Thought there may be a COS setting to disallow.
Thx.

Try this way :-

ADD-WABE:*14,,,AFWDREM,N,,,,,,,CFU,VOICE; -

This is normally set with different 'COS - Classes of Service'

I would have suggested a more restrictive COS as well.

The 4K allows many things to be enabled/disabled but some reason, general forward permission is not one of them. I've never really understood why not. There is a COS parameter, FWDNWK which can be used to prevent forwards over trunks (RICHT setting is checked), but generally if you can call it, you can forward to it.

If you absolutely must prevent the forward, the way to do it is to move the phone into a DPLN where the WABE FWD codes are not added. This would be easy or a pain in the ass, depending on your current config. Easy config is where your FWD codes are added in DPLN 0, but your WABE network access codes, CO/TIE, are added valid for all DPLNs along with appropriate LDPLN. Then if you move the phone to DPLN 1, they can still access the LCR but not the WABE codes for features. Then you add only the WABE codes you want into DPLN 1. If your CO/TIE codes are added only for DPLN 0, when you do this they can't fwd but they can't dial out either. Then you need to either duplicate the LDPLN/WABE into DPLN 1 also, or delete and re-add as valid for all dial plans. Of course if the phone is used incoming only, then this isn't a problem,

There are 2 COS's - Classes of Service (NOT LCOSV) below which work for me.
First is allow internal forwarding.
Second is allow internal AND external forwarding.
No CO is added to the system just TIE.
So to change a phone to Internal forwarding only - CHA-S(B)CSU:STNO=XXXX,COS1=12;

I was just looking for something else and found this by accident. Apparently there is a COS parameter called FWDBAR that blocks call forwarding for phones in that COS that has it.

Code:
Call Forwarding
CFB Call forwarding on busy x x
CFNR Call forwarding on no reply x x
CFSWF Automatic changeover to fixed call forwarding after deactivating variable call forwarding	x x
FWDBAR	Prevent call forwarding x x
FWDECA	CF-EXT as a function of COS 1 / 2 x x
FWDEXT	Extended call forwarding x
FWDNWK	Call forwarding to exchange x

Far as I'm aware Don that's one of those parameters that doesn't do what you think it does.

If you have it in your COS, no-one can forward to you. But you can still set a forward from your phone. At least that's the way I remember it. Might have changed.

I just saw it on the list. The mouse over text isn't much more helpful than the parameter description in the reference manual! :)
