Greetings;

I have a Win2K server connected to a T1 behind a PIX firewall and multiple VPN clients connecting from both dial-up and ADSL. I am finding that some of my clients are connecting (authenticating) but can't ping any resources...I've compared the client settings to others that work and they look the same...frustrating part is that many of these were connecting fine last week. I've seen a few posts with similar issues but i haven't seen any fixes that have worked for me...

any ides would be greatly appreciated...

Check the routing and remote access in admin tools... There are filters that are set by default that block pings and other ports as well...

Thanks Mike;

Any input is appreciated...since my post we've built an NT4 VPN server with (what seems to be) the same settings as the 2000 box....several of the 98 users who couldn't ping when attached to the 2000 box don't have any trouble at all when connected to the NT4 box... Filters occurred to me too, but I checked and I don't have any filters turned on on either box...

any other ideas??
