We are wanting to front end our Nortel Meridian 1 system with Asterisk so that we can have more features. One of those features is to be able to take the incoming callers ID and have it automatically populate into a search field that is in our private (microsoft based) application and then perfom the search within that system so that the callers account information would be pulled up. We are wondering if this can be done with some sort of custom macro? We also are going to utilize the follow me feature within Asterisk, that is the easy part.
