Can assisted transfer continue the ringing tone to caller instead of switching to bg music?

I need to get the result of a transfer so I am using assisted transfer. The only problem is that when I do so, it does not continue to ring for the caller.
Instead they hear background music. The problem is that I cannot rely 100% on MOH. It sound really crappy on cellphones and many people can't hear it and just hang up because of the silence.
Further,it's just another point of failure in the loop: the device could be off, the volume could be too low, the playlist could have stopped, etc...

Alternatively, Could I get the result from a regular transfer of a call?

You could use an announcemwnt against the uaer or the hunt group. the announcemwnt can be 1 sec of silence. Then just untick moh and 2nd announcement.
make the first announcement 2 secs.

Also change your moh source to tone.

You wont get ringback on a held call that's waiting to be transferred.

Depending on the URI configuration the ICR can be completely ignored.

If your URI is configured to use internal data then the IP Office will look into the user's SIP tab and if you have *'s it will look into ICR.

A madman with a taste for speed.

An other option would be to use an MOH that is ring back and assign it to that IRC. I am not sure how this might effect other hold scenarios as I have never tried it. Not sure if the hold music source follows the lifetime of the call or not. Groups can also have alt MOH sources.

Dermis and feline can be divorced by manifold methods.*
