Can the Avaya Site Administrator be configured to connect to Modular Messaging V3.0 or are you restricted to using the browser interface?

What is your system configuartion for backend, MSS?

Not sure there is another method to remotely access an MAS other than using network connection and RDP (Windows limits). If your PC is connected to the corporate LAN, then it is a simple RDP right into the MAS.

If you want to connect to the MSS for CLI (command line interface), then just setup ASA (terminal 4410, 8N1) to dial the MSS and login using a login having CLI interface. (Sometimes this is limited to the tsc login.)

An alternative is to dial into the MSS (network connection not ASA) and login using a ppp-enabled login. Once connected, then use a browser straight into the MSS. Don't think at this point one can use ASA. This avoids having to connect to the MAS then browse over to the MSS. Of course this limits your ability to go back to the MAS for anything unless you disconnect from the MSS first.
