We are running 7.0 Crystal with an AS400 (via ODBC) backend. We have a very large data base, both record size & # of records. I need to run a query on the AS400 to cut the number of records Crystal has to deal with and then run the Crystal for the report. I would like to be able to give my users the ability to do this from their desktop or the server but cannot come up with a means to make this connection.
