I would like to backup a file from one system and then restore the backed up copy to multiple systems. Can this be done: 1) by backing up the file to one of the systems diska on the Arcserv system? 2) can I now do a restore from the same system disk file to other systems on my network? 3) can ONE Arcserv job restore to more than one location? (i.e., if I have one file that I want to be on "x" number of other systems can the one job be setup to do that? If not is there a verable that could be instructed to start another restore process (job) after the 1st is completed.

You will be quite pleased to know that Arcserve supports COPY jobs.
From the Arcserve menu, choose Manage, utilities, copy.
You can make Arcserve COPY data from a SOURCE to a DESTINATION on a SCHEDULE. And, this works as a job in the queue.
A COPY job can copy data from one server to another, on your schedule.
You could setup three COPY jobs:

Job 1 copies data from server "A" to server "Z".
Job 2 copies data from server "A" to server "Y".
Job 3 copies data from server "A" to server "X".

You could even make the execution of the copy job conditional!
Call me if you need anything.
