Can anyone recommend a good software based telecommunications bill auditing program?

I liked Telco Research's platform back when I did these things, but you had to be relatively large (thousands of stations) before it was cost effective.

If you do a web search for 'telecom cost accounting' you'll get a whole bunch of hits.

Sorry, I guess I should have been clearer. I am looking for a software program that will audit 1000 to 2000 sites with no PBX. I program that will flag numbers that should not be dialed. It should be EDI (Electronic Data Interface) based. Not a CAS.

Two different ways you could do this. If you are getting call detail in the EDI, you could still use a call accounting system and have an import utilitty built for telco vendor data (ISI Infortel will do this - ISI-Info.com).

The other way use to use an Invoice Processing system and set up the exception rules to accomodate your requirements. Two vendors I know of are TTI ( Telesoft ( Robert Harris
