I created a rather large document in Word and I used a bunch of hyperlinks. They do work but everytime I click on one it loads it in a new window instead of the same one. How can I fix this to have them all open in the same window? Any/all help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

If these are hyperlinks to web locations, you should be able to set that in the browser. Assuming it's IE, go to Tools-Internet options-Advanced tab and make sure you select (or deselect) "browse in new process" option.

Actually this is all done using Word and Excel. There is actually no web browser used in this process (that I know of).
Thanks

5150,

When you click on the hyperlink does the link open into an IE browser window or do you open the file in Word/Excel?

When I click on the hyperlink it opens another Word window and that's where the document is. I tried another document (with hyperlinks) and it all seems to open in the same window but for some reason this continues to open new windows. how can I fix this?
Thanks
